Alex Bedwell will bring along some equipment for a good session.

Yes..... that was a good night.
It had it all... The glamour...David Honeyball on the red carpet!
The gossip... Jamie came out to his girlfriend and finally told her that he is straight!
The success... all teams finally merged into one club. The positivity shown last night was the biggest success of the evening.

| Committee and Committee Meeting - Thursday, 22nd May 08

The new committee met for their first meeting for season 2008/9.
We had to deal with the nitty gritty of maintaining football for the new season.
We are entering two teams into the AFC and the LOB and AFA cups.
I am dealing with those and all the other admin as and when the need arises.
David Honeyball is Fixture Secretary. He is sorting out pitches, referees and fixtures.
Jamie and I will set up the new treasurer's account and deal with the costs of pitches, referees etc etc as they come along.
Jason Winborn is Team Secretary and he will collate a club membership list and his job is also to liaise with the members and the committee.
Chris Lee is assistant Secretary and will 'assist' me.
Kyle Powell is Social secretary and he will be organizing social events. Please contact him with any ideas for social events next season.
Steve Hayden is our new chairman and he will sit on his throne and cogitate and we will use his wisdom from time to time.

 Egbertians V Drop Points - Sunday, 2nd March 08

| Latymer Old Boys IV 5 v 0 Egbertians V was the result posted on the AFA website. This is a massive step towards Mayfield 2nd team winning their first title. 2 weeks prior to this massive loss for Egbertians, Egbertians had beaten Mayfield’s 2nd's and had the world at their feet. Now seemingly the tides have turned with their 5-0 loss and put the league back into our hands. Having played 6 more games and being 13 points clear at the top it leaves the 2's in a very strong position. But this also means that it will be a massive game against Latymer who are only 3 points behind Wood Green Old Boys |

| Today Mayfield's 2nd team broke their current record for most goals scored in game. With 5 from Kyle Powell, 3 from Jasper Ford, 3 from Mehmet Ramiz, 2 from Jamie Hutber, 1 from Stephen Cohen, 1 from Daniel Tasker and 2 own goals we racked up an impressive 17-0 win on our home pitch. As of yet man of the match and game ratings are still waiting to be punched in by our captain Mehmet Ramiz. |

You can see everybodies stats, order through them and do a position search. I hope you find this useful. If for any reason the stats are wrong or haven't been added. The club is holding an evening of drinking eating and music, provided by Ben Evans and the Kases. The venue is the main clubhouse, starting at 7.30. We need at least 70 people there to make the evening a success and cover cost's etc.
Can you please confirm to me , no later than Tuesday 6th, if you will be attending and bringing anyone.

| Again the site has been under more heavy vamping. A few things have been added and fixed. You'll find no longer do you get web errors when trying to post on peoples news, also the Forum is under heavy maintenance. But most importantly you'll now receive e-mail updates about he fixtures as they are added to the site. So of course your captains will be adding these fixtures as soon as they notice them on the AFA website. Of course there are lots of small changes that people can't really care about, to be honest i'm not sure they care about e-mail updates. So long as they get them |

So we are in week 5 of the season and still there is no 1st team or 3rd team player willing to do this side of the site for their team. In a nut-shell this is a call out for a player from each team to run the admin side of their sites. Do the match ratings, pick man of the match, select the player ratings, make the players profile pages and much more. Its pretty simple. Without these things its creating the same problem that we had last season, for which i was slated for not making a club website. Its killing me not knowing who is the clubs top goal scorer.
Jason and Dave haven't signed up, thus creating a hole for a web "captain". So would somebody from the 3rd team would one of the 3rd team be willing to give this a trial run. The 1st team also seems to have a lack of captain support so any 1st team player up for this brilliant job?
